Six Years.. Hooray

Six Years ago I married this guy!

We made all of these crazy promises like to be each others faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, in joy as well as sorrow. We promised to love each other unconditionally, to support each other in our goals, to honor and respect, to laugh with and to cry with.

3 years later we added this little wonder to our lives, and our hearts grew bigger and bigger – that we thought they might spill over. We learned to make huge sacrifices. It wasn’t easy for either of us, because we are both stubborn and selfish sometimes! But I am loving you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we may face together.

We have another sweet miracle on his was in 4 months from today. I look forward to this new journey and I think we have come a long way baby…

I gave you my hand, my heart, and my love, and I cherish you til the end!

life, birthdays, love and marriage…..

It’s been a whirlwind of celebrations for the past couple of months! First Van’s 3rd, then we just celebrated Conner’s 33rd b-day. Then Easter the weekend after, and now our 7 year anniversary is right around the corner! We find out the sex of the baby a week from today, so we are eagerly awaiting that Dr. Visit. Van has officially found out that the Easter bunny comes and brings lots of candy. He is in full holiday swing now! He is so rad, and we are so blessed to have such a wonderful boy who brings so many smiles to our faces every day….

On another note I have been an avid Jack Johnson fan for the past 11 years or more, some people make fun of me. But I still love his voice and love where his passions lie. I can’t wait for his new cd to come out on June 1.
Check out the vid “You and Your Heart” here!

three years…

My little Van man is three tomorrow and I can’t believe it’s here. Time for school and lunchboxes, backpacks and braces, and dating, cars and okay all of that is not here yet. But I have been celebrating him all week this week and noticing what a good boy we have. His heart is solid and that I am so proud of. His personality draws others, and his compassion comforts…

I am so happy for all of the time we have had together…
We have another baby on the way too! Due in August so this will be a big year for our whole family…

I keep going back to one of my favorite photos, every time I see it or think of it I smile.. Our lives are so full of things to do and things we want to do, things we need and stuff we don’t need. It just feels so good to take time out and swing in a hammock, or lay on the floor and be with your kids. PRESENT in the moment…. Not Presents… That’s where you feel true true love.

Happy Day…. Happy Birthday Son, you are our Sunshine..

Happy New 2010

I am loving this love seat made by designer Karim Rashid he gives us a pretty-in-pink two-person chair for your Love Shack. The Veuve Clicquot Love Seat! Not only can you hang out with your honey face to face but you can share a chilled bottle of bubbly too! How romantic.. Reminds me of the good old dayz!

Next up the bottle, molded from 100 percent BPA-free polypropylene, is Rashid’s attempt to modernize and bring new appeal to a traditional baby product.

These baby bottles heat milk to body temperature without using electricity. Called Iiamo Go, the product heats the milk using a disposable capsule containing water and salt. Heat is generated as the salt becomes re-hydrated. Innovative, superior design and healthy too!

img_00761I was telling Van today that God helped him get well and that is why his tummy doesn’t hurt anymore. He said “well, where is he”? Isn’t it funny how we need to see proof of something in order to love it? I told him GOD is larger than life and he helps us through every day. I thought I would share that because it was a cute moment in our house.

Van also asked me to bring Christmas today so that he could get lightning McQueen! He let me know tonight in the tubby that he does not want to sit on Santa’s knee, that he would like to stand in front of him and see him when he tells him that he desperately needs the cars movie with Lighting McQueen!

I love this little boy more than I ever thought I could love something. He brings so much joy to my days and his laughter fills our house and spills outside.

We had a fun Thanksgiving in PA and PHILLY. It was fun to see everyone. We went to the Zoo in Philly and did the Ben Franklyn museum, and of course we ate a philly cheese steak! (Gross)

good night and I wish you a good day!
